Born in 1991 in Gdańsk, Poland, Tomasz is an award-winning film editor and a graduate of the Film Editing Department at the renowned National Film School in Łódź. With a strong sense of rhythm, emotion, and narrative structure, he creates compelling stories across fiction films, music videos, and commercial productions.
Tomasz has built an impressive portfolio of acclaimed short films, including “Bitter Herb” (Piołun) directed by Maria Ornaf and “Service” directed by Michał Edelman, for which he received the Best Editing Award at the Jan Machulski Awards 2025.
His feature film editing credits include “Exotic” directed by Sonja Orlewicz-Zakrzewska, “Sick” directed by Agata Trzebuchowska, and “Opi” directed by Marta Giec – all selected for the 2026 Polish Film Festival in Gdynia competition.
Driven by a lifelong passion for music, Tomasz has also become a sought-after music video editor, collaborating with some of Poland’s most prominent artists, including Mata, Taco Hemingway, Pezet, Sanah, Natalia Szroeder, and Young Igi. His editing style combines cinematic storytelling with a strong musical sensitivity and visual precision.
In the commercial field, Tomasz has worked with internationally recognized brands such as Samsung, HBO Max, IKEA, Nike, KFC, Puma, Santander Bank, and British American Tobacco. His outstanding work earned him two KTR 2022 nominations in the Editing category, where he won both 2nd and 3rd place simultaneously. He was also nominated for Best Editing at the Berlin Music Video Awards 2023.
Beyond editing, Tomasz shares his expertise as a jury member of the SPR Competition, serving in the Editing category since the competition’s foundation.
Tomasz approaches every project with curiosity, energy, and a constant search for new creative challenges. Outside filmmaking, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and finds inspiration in yoga, bouldering, and graphic novels.
