Sebastian Mialik

Born 1986. Graduated from Film Editing at National Film School in Łódź as well as Film, Video & Interactive Arts at Middlesex University.

He has worked on many award-winning films, most notably his feature film editing debut „Hardkor Disko” (dir. Krzysztof Skonieczny, awarded at Camerimage, Gdynia and Prague among others), full-length documentary „Call me Tony” (dir. Klaudiusz Chrostowski, awarded at IDFA) and numerous short films, especially „What I Want” (dir. Damian Kocur, awarded at Camerimage, Gdynia, Belgrad, Los Angeles, Nice).

Sebastian’s commercial portfolio includes works for Samsung, Huawei, McDonalds, Carlsberg, Lech, Jaegermeister, Ballantines, Tymbark, T-Mobile, Head&Shoulders, Microsoft, Idea Bank and CROPP – the latter bringing his work a Silver Sword at KTR Awards for editing „CROPP – Life On The Edge” and Silver Sword  at KTR 2019 Awards for editing “TIGER – Power is back”.

He also edits music videos. „Katarakta” Daniel Bloom feat. Mela Koteluk was nominated for Best Music Video at FRYDERYKI Music Awards, and „Chleb” Mister D. earned a nomination at UK Music Video Awards.

Sebastian is also a father, a homebrewer, a tennis enthusiast and an astrophysics geek.
