Magdalena is one of the most talented young editors in Poland. She graduated in Film Production at the University of Silesia and in Film Editing from the Faculty of Film and Television Directing at the Lodz Film School.

She has edited numerous music videos, commercials, as well as many award-winning short and feature films. Following her successful debut in 2015 with the full-length feature „Baby Bump,” directed by Kuba Czekaj, her talent gained recognition.

In 2017, her editing work on the film „Szczękościsk” earned Magdalena an individual award at the Lodz Film Festival in the category of Fiction Editing. In 2018, her editing on the short film „Najpiękniejsze fajerwerki ever” directed by Joanna Terpińska, garnered her the Jan Machulski Award for Best Editing.

In the subsequent years, she gained acclaim for her work on films like „Supernova” directed by Bartosz Kruhlik, „Dark, Almost Night” directed by Borys Lankosz, and „Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight II” directed by Bartosz M. Kowalski. Above all, her full-length feature debut with Aleksandra Terpińska titled „Inni ludzie” stood out. This film earned Magdalena the individual award for Best Editing at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2022. In 2023, she was also nominated for the Polish Film Award „Eagle” for Best Editing, once again for „Inni ludzie.”

In 2023, she became a member of the European Film Academy and served on the main competition jury at the 48th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Magdalena has also co-edited several Netflix series including „Infamia,” „The Green Glove Gang,” and „Sexify,” all of which received fantastic reviews and garnered immense viewership worldwide.

In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing and road cycling, and takes care of her charming golden retriever named Benek, who is frequent assistant in her editing room.
