
Maciej Walentowski (born 1981 in Katowice) is a film editor whose work has been recognized at major Polish festivals. His credits include Otwarcie (awarded at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and Kraków Film Festival), Pasażer Andrzej Munk (awarded at Millennium Docs Against Gravity, Warsaw), Córy Węgla and Chłopiec, który biegnie (both honored at the Koszalin Festival of Film Debuts).
He has edited both documentary and fiction series for Canal+, HBO, Netflix, and Viaplay. In addition to long-form content, he also works on short-form projects, including music videos and cinema trailers.
A long-time collaborator with TVP Kultura, he has edited numerous films and programs focused on art and culture.
When he’s not in the editing suite, you’ll likely find him on his bicycle. He loves dogs and the sea.
