Maciej Walentowski born 1981 in Katowice Editor of fictional films, documentaries, series, music videos and movie trailers. His first edited fictional debut, „The Opening”, dir. Piotr Adamski, he received awards at festivals in Krakow and Gdynia. He has worked on documentary series (Canal + productions), feature series (including „Open your eyes”, Netflix production) and documentary films about contemporary artists. He also edits shorter forms: music videos (by such creators as Pablopavo i Ludiki, Wacław Zimpel, Wojciech Mazolewski or JIMEK) and cinema trailers, e.g. films by Anka Sasnal and Wilhelm Sasnal or „Birds sing in Kigali” awarded at the Film Festival in Gdynia, dir. Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzysztof Krauze. If he isn’t working, he probably rides a bicycle.
He has, among others, a lonely bicycle trip Lisbon-Warsaw. He loves dogs and the sea.
