The character with many talents: film editor, co-script writer, film director. As editor he has worked on number of successful documentaries including the Oscar nominee “Rabbit à la Berlin” – dir. Bartosz Konopka (also awarded at the “Hotdoc” Canadian Documentary Film Festival, Jihlava FF, Kraków FF and others), “Planet Kirsan” – dir. Magdalena Pieta ,”6 Degrees” – dir. Bartosz Dombrowski (award for editing at ISFF “Sehsüchte”) and “15 Corners of the World” (the Semaine de la Critique prize at Locarno International Film Festival; awards at the Belgrade, Wrocław and Bratislava FF), as well as feature films, such as “Performer” – dir. Łukasz Ronduda, Maciej Sobieszczański.
His commercial portfolio includes edits for Allegro and Café Prima – campaign awarded at KTR & Cannes Film Festival.
In 2017 he made his directorial debut with “Tourists”- full feature documentary assembled out of amateur videos filmed by tourists during their trips.
Mateusz is also familiar with colour grading, online edit and special effects. Simply speaking the one-man band.
